The Avenue Arts Academy
The Avenue Arts Academy is an award-winning theatre Academy based in its modern premises on the bustling Lisburn Road Belfast. We proudly lead the way in Theatre Education, performances, and affordable opportunities. Our staff are mature, experienced, very well qualified, and dedicated to ensuring that all our students, first and foremost, enjoy their time with our Academy and grow in confidence to become the best version of themselves.
At The Avenue Arts Academy
Our Performance Academy Juniors (8-13) and Seniors (14 -21) runs every Saturday from 10am - 1pm and is a rehearsal-led programme where our students work towards full-scale Musical performances, Concerts and many other public events and accredited Trinity Board exams at no extra cost.
Our Training Academy Juniors (8 (P5) -13) and Seniors (14 -21) runs every Saturday from 2 pm to 5pm, and we offer 1 hour of training in each of the three disciplines of musical theatre, dance, singing, and acting.
Our Junior Prep Academy (6-8 (P4)) runs every Saturday and is designed to introduce students to stage performance. It follows on from our Tiny Tots programme.
Our Tiny Tots Academy (3-6) runs every Saturday. We help build your child's imagination and confidence through dance, acting, and singing. We are the first drama school in Northern Ireland to offer the Young Performers Certificate a recognised qualification: the Trinity Board Young Performers Certificate.
Our student-centred Saturday programmes have no hidden extras, no joining fees, no termly contracts, no term show fees, no costume fees, or Trinity exam fees. Our varied programmes ensure that The Avenue Arts Academy offers our students and parents/guardians various affordable options.
